journeyman/woman refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Install and overhaul heating systems. Install refrigeration systems. Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Troubleshoot heating systems. Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components. Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system. Interpret gas codes. Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate. Type of service and repair: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Equipment and machinery experience: HVAC. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
