Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Carry out work study. Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs. Inspect processes. Oversee production . Set machine or equipment controls. Design plant layouts and production facilities. Conduct work measurement or other studies. Develop and carry out health, safety and fire prevention plans. Conduct safety training programs. Develop computer applications for machines and processes. Collect and compile operational or experimental data. Collect and analyze data and samples. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Read blueprints and drawings. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000, 9001 quality management certified. Computer and technology knowledge: SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD). Project management software. Computer-aided design (CAD). MS Excel. MS Word. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Lean Six Sigma. Area of work experience: Fabrication. International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Area of specialization: Development of production processes. Development of quality assurance programs. Work planning, estimating, measuring and scheduling. Development of industrial health plans. Development of safety and fire prevention plans.
