The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible to assist with planning, coordinating, and executing events that promote the dairy industry and its values, including sustainability, innovation, and community engagement. This role focuses on creating meaningful connections with the public through educational and promotional events, ensuring smooth execution and maximum impact.
The Event Marketing Specialist will collaborate with promotions staff and external partners to develop engaging experiences at local New Brunswick events. This role includes assisting with event logistics and ensuring that each event highlights the dedication of dairy farmers to quality and sustainability.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing promotional events, including community outreach initiatives and educational activities.
* Help with event logistics, including scheduling, setup, materials preparation, and on-site operations.
* Collaborate with the Event Coordinator to align events with the organization?s branding and marketing strategies.
* Work with vendors, partners, and venues to ensure seamless event execution.
* Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess event success and suggest improvements.
* Represent the organization at events to engage with attendees and promote the industry?s key messages.
*Qualifications:*
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed for events.
* A creative and problem-solving mindset to ensure successful event execution.
* Interest or background in agriculture, sustainability, or community outreach is an asset.
The Event Specialist will play a critical role in promoting the dairy industry through impactful events, building strong connections with communities, and showcasing the values of dairy farmers.
