Planning: Develop event plans, including timelines, seating arrangements, and menu selections Coordination: Oversee the logistical aspects of events, including working with the culinary team and other departments Staff management: Recruit, train, schedule and manage staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff Customer service: Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction Food standards: Maintain food standards, including the hygienic standards of the kitchen and food serving work Health and safety: Ensure health and safety, and devise solutions to problems that may arise Vendor relationships: Develop vendor relationships to reduce food and supply costs Social Media management: Create content, Plan campaigns, Manage communities (eg. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Mass Emailing etc.), Analyze performance, Adjust strategies, Monitor metrics, and Manage online reputation Inventory management: Overseeing inventory and Ordering products as required by events. Financial management: Budgeting and Monitoring expenses. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Night shift Experience: * Banquet Hall: 1 year (required) * Social media management: 1 year (preferred) * Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationStoney Creek, ON
