Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: More than 20 people. Type of crops: Cucumbers. Greenhouse tomatoes. Greenhouse vegetables. Herbs. Strawberries. Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service.
