Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Work setting: Hospital (staff position). Willing to relocate. Rural area. Tasks: Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders. Prescribe medication and treatment . Refer patients for surgery. Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases. Act as consultants to other physicians. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II). Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail.
