*Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Payroll Supervisor, Full-Time - Non-Union Position *
*Basic Function and Scope: *
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the Payroll Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of pay processing and related internal and external reporting. The Payroll Supervisor contributes to the development of practices and procedures in Payroll, ensures the accurate maintenance of master pay entitlements for multiple employee groups, and provides quality and timely customer service. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with extensive payroll experience to help shape healthcare for today and in the future.
*Qualifications: *
*Education: *
* Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) certification through the Canadian Payroll Association, required.
* Bachelor?s degree in business administration, accounting or finance, preferred.
* Three to five (3 ? 5) years progressive management experience in Payroll in a Unionized Healthcare setting, required.
*Experience: *
* Sound knowledge of integrated HRIS systems.
* Knowledge or experience of Quadrant is an asset.
* Demonstrated understanding of legal regulations with regards to a hospital setting, e.g. Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care; CRA, application of multiple collective agreements in a unionized environment, etc.
*Required Skills: *
* Demonstrates broad and comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, practices and policies with the ability to apply them in complex and/or unprecedented situations across multiple functional areas, required.
* Strong analytical and problem skills to resolve complex issues, identify trends/patterns, model alternatives, develop and recommend fact-based solutions, required.
* Results oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results.
* Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Proven written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to adapt readily to change.
* Models and promotes core ethical practices (Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Innovation), and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude.
