We?re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our construction finance dream team. You?ll be the strategic number-cruncher helping us keep projects profitable, cash flow humming, and financial reports crisp enough to frame.
Reporting to the (very approachable) Director of Finance and working shoulder-to-shoulder with operations, you?ll have a hand in everything from forecasting to profit modeling to process improvement.

*What You?ll Be Doing *(Besides dazzling us with conditional formulas)
Forecasting, Budgeting & Financial Strategy
· ? Own the profit process and keep it grounded in operational reality
· ? Partner with the Director of Finance and project teams to support decisions and drive performance
· ? Analyze profitability, margins, and risks across all major projects and equipment
*Job Costing & Construction Financials*
· ? Analyze cost reports, WIP schedules, progress billings, and equipment utilization.
· ? Collaborate with PMs to track costs, manage variances, and keep things tight
· ? Ensure our numbers reflect what?s happening on the ground
*Reporting & Analysis*
· ? Produce monthly dashboards, KPIs, and executive-ready reports
· ? Transform financial data into clear, compelling insights
· ? Help the team spot trends, avoid surprises, and seize opportunities
*Cash Flow, AR/AP & Payroll Insights*
· ? Forecast cash like a financial weatherperson (but more accurate)
· ? Support AR/AP and payroll analytics for union and non-union teams
· ? Monitor payment cycles and support compliance
*Systems & Process Optimization*
· ? Recommend improvements in ERP and reporting tools
· ? Work with accounting and tech teams to streamline workflows
· ? Automate, elevate, and simplify?wherever possible
*What You Bring to the Table*
*Education & Experience*
· ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Construction Management
· ? 5+ years of experience in construction, project-based, or manufacturing finance
· ? CPA/CMA designation (or in progress) a strong asset
· ? Proven experience with WIP, job costing, and progress billing
*Tech Skills*
· ? Strong Excel user (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH... the works)
· ? Familiar with construction ERPs like Sage 300, Maestro, Bid2Win, or Acumatica
· ? Comfortable with BI dashboards and financial modeling
*Soft Skills*
· ? Strategic thinker who can zoom out and dig in
· ? Proactive communicator who builds bridges across departments
· ? Comfortable in a high-speed, boots-and-blueprints kind of environment

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
