Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Cold/refrigerated. Hot. Work setting: Construction. Commercial. Tasks: Install underground wiring and cables. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Connect power to audio and visual equipment. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Apprenticeship training: Level two apprenticeship training. Level three apprenticeship training. Area of specialization: Lighting system. Security and safety: Basic security clearance.
