Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Maintain laboratory equipment. Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses. Compile records for analytical studies. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards . Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures. Participate in safety audits and programs. Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications. Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Perform pre-operational inspection. Establish operational procedures. Conduct quality audits . Computer and technology knowledge: HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge. Area of work experience: Quality assurance and control. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Overtime required. Personal suitability: Accurate. Judgement. Organized. Proactive. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
