Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Private business. Outdoor centre. Recreational or cultural centre. Tasks: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Keep logs and maintain records. Schedule activities. Supervise staff. Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts. Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Prepare reports. Understand principles of group dynamics. Leading/instructing groups. Leading/instructing individuals. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment. Supervision: More than 20 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child Abuse Registry check. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability.
