MedCare Clinics is a multi-specialty medical clinic located in the GTA.
Our clinic's mission is to provide exceptional medical care to the surrounding communities. Our services include providing care in a family practice setting as well as operate a walk-in clinic where new patients are always welcome. Our team also includes specialty Physicians that practice Internal Medicine. Our clinic has an on-site Blood Lab and INR Clinic as well as vaccinations and seasonal flu clinics all provided by our Registered Nurse & Phlebotomists onsite. MedCare Clinics is looking to grow our team with the addition of a virtual Physician Assistant. The physician assistant will work under the supervision of our qualified family physicians.

A brief list of the Physician Assistant?s duties will include the following:
* Complete patient medical history, diagnosis, plan and treatment
* Complete virtual (telephone) consult as needed
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays, ultrasounds, etc.)
* Provide treatment plans and diagnosis
* Educate and counsel patients
* Prescribe medications
* Collaborate with the physician to ensure the quality of patient care& more
We are offering a competitive salary and flexible hours. Shifts will include some weekend coverage. Schedule and shifts varies based on your availability.

*Required Education, Skills and Qualifications*
- Completion of a Clinical Assistant program
- International Medical Graduate with extensive Clinical Assistant or independent practice experience
- EMR experience
- Standard of card according to the Canadian healthcare system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
Experience:
* Completion of an MD or MDBS Program (required): 1 year (preferred)
* Passing grade of the QE1 and NAC Exam or USMLE: 1 year (preferred)
* Accuro EMR: 1 year (preferred)
* Clinical Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
