Due to our recent growth and expansion, GEMTEC is actively seeking an Intermediate Municipal Engineer in Fredericton, New Brunswick.GEMTEC is an employee-owned and operated engineering consulting company with offices and laboratories throughout Ontario and Atlantic Canada. We provide professional scientific and engineering consulting services to a wide variety of clients throughout Canada. As such, we strive to have employees that are multi-faceted with several desirable skills.We are looking for the ideal candidate that will fit within the culture of our organization. The successful candidate will support all GEMTEC Atlantic locations, travelling as needed.Qualifications and Experience:Currently registered, or has the ability to register, with Engineers New Brunswick as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering from an accredited University.Approximately 5 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering consulting. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Roles and Responsibilities:The successful candidate will work in several areas of civil engineering, including: municipal, civil design, transportation, water, sanitary and storm water Design, surveying, and project management.Specific day-to-day tasks would include:Project Management.Preparation of contract specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings.Assisting in field operations as required.Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.Position:Must have a valid driver's license.Apply here: https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/181Thank you for taking the time to consider GEMTEC.
