Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Science technologies/technicians, general. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Other miscellaneous crop farming. Viticulture. Noisy. Experimental. Tree and orchard fruit. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?.
