Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Restaurant. Tasks: Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages. Describe menu items including daily specials for customers. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Balance cash and record sales. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages. Serve food and beverages. Provide customer service. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food and beverage server trade certificate. Smart Serve. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register. Point of sale system. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
