*Job Description/Overview: *
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Right Traffic and related groups of companies, you are
responsible for completing, assisting in and leading various aspects of the financial planning and analysis processes on a day-to-day basis. This FP&A position reports directly to the FP&A Manager and will be responsible for analyzing the company?s historical performance, building forecasts, and assisting leadership across many different growth objectives.
*Job Duties: *
* Direct, lead, and take initiative on several important ongoing and project related scopes
* Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
* Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
* Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
* Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
* Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
* Assist with preparation of quarterly financial reports.
* Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
* Support the Department Leaders with data-driven analysis
* Ad hoc FP&A related tasks within the normal scope of a financial analyst.
*Skills and Qualifications *
* Bachelor?s degree in finance, or equivalent field
* 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related area (FP&A experience highly preferred)
* General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
* Experience developing financial reports and metrics
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
* High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
* Strong analytical and data gathering skills
* Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions with the ability to produce clear, simple and effective presentations of your work.
* Experience working with an ERP system (NetSuite highly regarded), Dashboard, and planning software (NSPB, Hyperion, and Smartview highly regarded)
* CPA, or working toward, considered an asset
