The Role We're seeking a Business Analyst Specialist to analyse and support business processes as well as define requirements that lead development streams within the Credit360 application. You will have a unique opportunity to work directly with different stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, plan and deliver innovative solutions that drive the bank forward. In this role you will: Collaborate with stakeholders for ongoing application support, develop ad hoc queries to fulfill business requirements, and adapt to issues that will require complex problem-solving abilities. Coordinate monthly release schedules with business users, developers, and quality assurance analysts to facilitate the delivery of bug fixes, important business improvements, and new features. Maintain and develop data sets that feed into business intelligence tools to fulfill reporting and regulatory requirements. Oversee the design and implementation of software features, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory needs. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: Experience with data analysis, relational databases, Business Objects, and SQL queries is an asset. Accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes required to resolve business problems and to meet the business needs. This may involve participation in rapid prototyping, preparing requirements and project documentation. Experience with systems implementation process, i.e., assisting in the development of test cases and the conducting of testing, assisting in the definition of user procedures and workflows, assisting in the development of conversion and implementation strategies, and assisting in the provision of user documentation, user training, and post-implementation support. Knowledge/understanding of Capital Markets and financial instruments including market conventions. Knowledge/understanding of the bank's credit adjudication and end to end funding processes is preferred. Adapt to change quickly and adjust accordingly in a positive manner. Experience analyzing complex business requirements and providing end user support to business users. Understanding of current IT practices, Agile systems development techniques, including requirements specification; testing methodologies; real time analytical and formal modeling tools, keeps current with rapidly changing technology. Creative, reliable, self-starter, results oriented, highly motivated individual with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to apply knowledge to independently resolve complex business problems. Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and judgement to effectively work with business users and project team members, technology teams and management. What's in it for you?
