<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong><em>Southwestern Manufacturing Inc.</em></strong> operates in a competitive global market producing wide ranging metal-based assemblies and components across a variety of industry sectors including but not limited to Mining, Oil & Gas, Crane and Drag-line Components, Agricultural, Machine building, and Heavy Equipment Manufacturing.</p><p>Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. is seeking <strong>to hire 2 permanent full-time</strong> (minimum of 40 - 50 hours per week) experienced CNC Machinists (Class A) to start as soon as possible.</p><p>Our regular shift rotation is days and afternoons.</p><p>• <strong><em>Minimum 10 years experience</em></strong> with vast Knowledge of programing at the controller G Codes for Fanuc and Tosnuc controllers and Heidenhain Conversational.</p><p> </p><p>• <strong><em>Minimum 10 years experience</em></strong> operating CNC <span class="long-word">horizontal/vertical</span> milling machines, CNC turning machines, machining custom, high tolerance components.</p><p> </p><ul><li>Highly experienced in 2D machining as all operations including programing will be performed by the Operator.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of tooling and tooling operations</li><li>Proficient specifically in <strong>Fanuc, Tosnuc, Fagor and Heidenhain Controllers.</strong></li><li>Must be proficient in manual G code programming</li><li>Thorough knowledge and working experience with blueprints from start of job to completion</li><li>Ability to operate Horizontal Boring Mills and Vertical Boring Mills efficiently</li><li>Extreme attention to detail as our industry involves tight tolerances</li><li>Secondary (high) school graduation certificate</li><li>Able to stand for extended periods work within a fast-paced environment</li><li>Shift work (days and afternoons)</li><li>Review BOMs and routers to identify areas for improvement in material and labor utilization.</li><li>Document all continuous improvement efforts and communicate those results to management in regular meetings.</li><li>Collaborate with Production and Engineering personnel to achieve optimal performance improvements.</li><li>Work with Production personal to identify potential areas of improvement.</li><li>Strong understanding of blueprint reading/geometric tolerance interpretation</li><li>Train helpers and operators to perform adjustments.</li></ul><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read drawings, specifications & engineering information with minimum supervision</li><li>Excellent knowledge of tooling</li><li>Setting up and operating Computer numerical control (CNC) machines</li><li>Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables</li><li>Setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools</li><li>Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance</li><li>Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances</li><li>Maintaining inspection records and complete inspection reports</li><li>Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)</li><li>Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments</li><li>Computing dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces</li></ul><p><strong>We offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>A comprehensive health benefits package including dental, life insurance, vision and pension plan</li><li>Opportunity to progress in a growing company</li><li>Overtime after 40 hours per week</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. operates in a competitive global market producing wide ranging metal based assemblies and components across a variety of industry sectors including but not limited to Mining, Oil & Gas, Crane and Drag-line Components, Agricultural, Machine building, and Heavy Equipment Manufacturing. <br
