*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including flooring installation, cabinet installation, and drywall work. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
*Responsibilities*
* Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
* Perform flooring installation with precision and care.
* Execute cabinet installations according to specifications.
* Lay tiles with accuracy for aesthetic appeal and functionality.
* Restore existing structures while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Interpret schematics to determine project requirements and specifications.
* Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square for optimal structural integrity.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
* Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate timelines and material needs.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial settings.
* Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
* Strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
* Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
