The Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop is hiring a job coach who will assist individuals with barriers to learning and perform their work duties. Responsibilities:- Assist individuals with barriers to perform their work duties in our Vocational Work programs and at jobs in the community- Transporting individuals to their place of employment. You Are:- An enthusiastic and community-oriented person who is passionate about helping people of all abilities to thrive in our community.- Someone who treats all people with dignity and respect.- Adaptable to a changing work environment.- Comfortable in an industrial setting which includes spending the day wearing steel toe footwear and operating tools Requirements:-To qualify for Canada Summer Jobs applicants must be between 15-30 Years of age - Class 5 Drivers license with clear drivers abstract- Criminal Record Check with vulnerable persons check Skills and Abilities: Essential Skills - Reading text - Document use - Writing - Oral communication - Working with others - Decision making - Critical thinking - Job task planning and organizing - Computer use Specific Skills - Provide job training and support - Monitor, evaluate and report progress of participants - Assist participants to develop life skills Target Groups or Clients - Persons who are intellectually impaired - Persons with physical disabilities- LocationWeyburn, SK
