*Job Description*
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-driven *Accounts Receivable Clerk* to join our accounting team. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency. Strong data entry skills, experience with ERP systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key to success in this role. You?ll play a vital part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting smooth business operations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Accurately process customer invoices and incoming payments
* Maintain up-to-date AR records and reconcile customer accounts
* Generate customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances
* Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries
* Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth financial workflows
* Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with company standards
*Day-to-Day Responsibilities*
* Create, process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions
* Review and verify customer account information. Update and maintain customer information and handle any data entry related to customer accounts
* Communicate with customers regarding payments and account status
* Support preparation of financial reports as needed
*Qualifications*
* 1?2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role
* Proficiency with ERP systems (QuickBooks experience is an asset)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, data sorting/filtering)
* Strong data entry and organizational skills
* Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
* Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support process improvements
* Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred (but not required)
