Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Agricultural machinery. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Service attachments and working tools. Perform other routine maintenance. Repair and maintain equipment. Apprenticeship training: Pre-apprenticeship training. Level one apprenticeship training. Level two apprenticeship training. Level three apprenticeship training. Level four apprenticeship training. Level five apprenticeship training. Diesel engine repair specialization: Installation and alignment of engines and machinery.
