*Job Summary:*
As a Diesel Mechanic at KW Towing, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of light, medium, and heavy-duty tow trucks. We?re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and understands the urgency of keeping our trucks on the road.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions.
* Conduct regular preventative maintenance on tow trucks and support vehicles.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform wiring repairs as needed.
* Keep accurate maintenance records and inspection reports.
* Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet safety standards.
* Respond to breakdowns when needed and perform on-site repairs.
* Communicate clearly with dispatch and management regarding truck status.
*Qualifications:*
* 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (Tow truck experience a big plus).
* 310T or 310S license.
* Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy-duty systems.
* Valid driver?s license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain).
* Own set of tools preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency repairs.
* Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
