*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry clients while providing exceptional grooming services. You will work in a friendly environment where your love for animals and customer service skills will shine. This position requires both technical grooming abilities and the capacity to lift and handle pets of various sizes. *Duties* * Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences. * Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require further attention. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options. * Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. * Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. * Assist with heavy lifting of larger pets as needed during grooming sessions. * Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training may be available for the right candidate. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners. * Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets. * Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming techniques, and appropriate products is a plus. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients regarding their pets' needs. * A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being. * Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
