Pack?d Inn K9 Services* *Location:* Oldcastle, ON *Employment Type:* Part-Time / Full-Time Are you passionate about dogs and looking to join a dynamic, training-focused facility? Pack?d Inn K9 Services is seeking a dedicated *Kennel/DayTrain Attendant* to join our growing team! This role blends hands-on care, structured handling, and daily support for our dogs in training and boarding. *What You'll Do:* * Supervise and care for dogs in our structured DayTrain and Boarding programs * Maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment in all kennel and play areas * Support the implementation of training protocols (crate/place/leash manners) * Assist trainers during DayTrain sessions with dog handling and setup * Monitor dog behavior and report changes to the training team * Administer feedings, potty breaks, and medication as required * Provide daily cleaning of kennels, dishes, and facility (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.) * Greet clients and help with drop-off/pick-up procedures professionally and calmly * Ensure all dogs follow Pack?d Inn routines and expectations (no free-for-all daycare vibes here) *What We're Looking For:* * Experience with dogs (kennel, daycare, rescue, vet, or training facility preferred) * Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments * A calm, confident, and assertive energy around animals * Quick learner with strong observation skills * Willing and able to work independently and take initiative * Comfortable learning to use a POS system and handling client payments * Strong time management and communication skills * Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed) *Why Join Pack?d Inn K9:* * Be part of a team that prioritizes structure, training, and long-term success for both dogs and their people * Opportunity to learn hands-on from experienced trainers * Work in a growing, supportive, and like-minded environment * Staff discounts on training, food, and retail products * Plenty of tail wags and love from our amazing pack!
