Responsibilities: -Responsible for all aspects of millwright maintenance in the milling complex and surrounding areas. This may include preventative maintenance work, equipment repairs and participation in developing maintenance programs.-Rebuilding pumps of various types and sizes-Removal of pumps, fans and agitators for maintenance-Bearing replacements, belt/sheave changes and adjustments-Oil Changes on equipment-Some occasional welding/fabricating -Maintain a safe and organized working environment Skills and Qualifications:-Must have an Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic ticketo Machining experience and/or a Journeyperson Machinist is considered an asset o Welding experience and/or a Journeyperson Welder is considered an asset -Good understanding of pumps and other mechanical equipment related to the mill operation-Willingness to work with minimum supervision at times-Work as part of the maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient production of the mill-Willingness to utilize all skills taught in the millwright trade-Willingness to assist other trades in the completion of their duties-Priority will be given to residents of the Saskatchewans North Work Location & Schedule:-McClean Lake-14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required-This position requires moderate physical ability Benefits and advantages of working with us:-Competitive wage and benefits-A welcoming environment and great co-workers-Training and development opportunities-Many indoor recreational activities some of which include: full size gymnasium, racquetball and fitness facilities, billiards, art room, band room, and ongoing scheduled recreational activities-Outdoor recreational activities including: fishing, canoeing, paddleboards, bicycles, tennis courts, snow shoeing, etc.
