Skills Development and Employment ensures that people with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs by matching them with employers seeking qualified job candidates. In addition, they offer support with assessments, rehabilitation and child and youth programs.
*The opportunity*
Exciting full-time opportunity in Niagara Falls for a Job Developer to build employer relationships, match clients with jobs, and support inclusive employment. *Valid driver?s license required.*
*Responsibilities*
* Build and maintain relationships with employers across various industries
* Serve as the primary contact for job orders and employer communication
* Document employer needs to support effective job matches
* Collaborate with the ES team to connect clients to job opportunities and provide ongoing placement support
* Negotiate job opportunities and wage subsidies where needed
* Develop on-the-job training plans if applicable
* Offer follow-up support and accommodations to ensure success for both employers and clients
*Qualifications and experience*
* 1?3 years of experience in job development, employer outreach, marketing, recruitment, or screening
* Strong customer service, sales, negotiation, and communication skills
* Knowledge of disability-related barriers
* Familiarity with current labour market trends
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software
* Organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to document and support reporting
* French language ability is an asset
* *Valid driver?s license and access to reliable transportation required*

* *Work Model:* Hybrid ? 4 days in-office, 1 day work from home
