Looking for an interesting part time or retirement job? Our long established business is recruiting a new delivery driver to take charge and care of taking our handmade furniture to our customers cottages, islands and vacation homes. Your typical day will involve loading and blanket wrapping our pieces of furniture, driving through various parts of northern Ontario and putting furniture in place for our customers. Some basic installation and assembly of pieces such as beds will be required. Larger pieces of furniture will be delivered with a helper. The odd trip to pick up from some suppliers in the GTA is also part of the job, so comfort and experience driving in Toronto is a must. Our delivery truck doesn't require a special licence to drive, however a clean drivers abstract dating back 3 years is important. This is an on-call position where we can discuss your availability and timing for various days, we are flexible so feel free to express interest based on your availability.
