Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Saw, trim and plane rough lumber into dressed lumber of various sizes. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Patternmaking experience: Wood patternmaking. Personal suitability: Accurate. Judgement. Reliability. Team player. Punctuality. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
