*Position: Carpenter* Seasonal employment, Full-time - 40-50 hours /week Employment conditions: early mornings, morning, day, evening, weekends (Saturdays), flexible hours *Job Overview:* Carpenters will construct buildings, fencing, decks and sheds. Carpenters will work in a wide range of areas, some include Kingston, Picton, Belleville, Quinte West, Gananoque, Napanee. *Responsibilities & Major Tasks: * ·Completing repetitive tasks ·Heavy lifting required: bending, lifting, kneeling, standing for extended periods of time ·Candidates should be able to lift 45kg (100lbs) ·Must wear steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves ·Working outdoor and in confined areas -Must be able to read blueprints *Qualifications:* ·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ·Able to work Saturdays ·Good verbal and written communication skills ·Good collaboration skills ? able to be part of a team ·Experience is an asset ·Willing to travel and have a valid driver?s license ·Hardworking and quick learner ·Dependable and reliable ·Valid driver?s license ·Physically demanding -Working at heights Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 8 months Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGreater Napanee, ON
