*We are currently seeking a full-time Truss Assembler to join our team.*
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and accurate assembly of all components of roof and floor trusses.

*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Read and interpret specifications from shop drawings or order forms.
* Prepare materials required for project, includes lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling materials weighting up to 50 lb.
* Use necessary hand and power tools to assemble trusses.
* Assist with the movement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
* Picking orders.
* Complete daily stock inventory reports and material requisition forms.
* Ensure hand and power tools are clean and safe at all times.
* Ensure work area and storage area are clean and safe at all times.
* Unload raw materials from deliveries (if forklift licensed).
* Operate forklift (if licensed).
*Qualifications:*
* Industrial woodworking or other woodworking experience an asset.
* Forklift certification/experience an asset.
* Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime depending on season, workload, etc.
* Able to read and interpret truss shop drawings.
* Excellent mathematical skills.
* Competency with building tools and materials.
* Dedicated, hardworking and very detail-oriented.
* Good communication skills, multi-tasking skills and can meet deadlines.
* Comfortable with heights.
* Willingness to learn.
* Ability to work co-operatively in a team atmosphere and have positive relations with customers and colleagues.
* Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
