*INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC MILLWRIGHT - CONTINENTAL NIGHT* *SHIFT* *VAUGHAN, ONTARIO* *We're Hiring for Continental Night Shift* * Continental Night Shift: 8:00pm - 8:00am * Starting Salary: $42.50 /hour * Continental Night Shift Premium: $1.50 /hour * Work 7 (12 hour) days every 2 weeks * Work every other weekend * Unionized position *What We Are Looking For:* * Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) * Completion of secondary school and a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship Program or equivalent * 2-4+ years of experience working as a Millwright in an industrial Manufacturing setting * Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge an asset * Hands-on experience working with pumps, motors, conveying equipment, hydraulic equipment and large industrial machines * Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues * Working knowledge of local and Canadian electrical and safety codes * Advanced working knowledge of electrical, PLC programming, and motor controls * Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and manuals for equipment * Problem-solve and execute solutions, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment * Manage multiple task and prioritize while staying organized * Work with cross-functional team members * Lift up to 50 lbs * Work at heights (training will be provided) * Demonstrated leadership and work ethic * Adapt to changing priorities and working conditions * Experience using Maintenance Software programs * Counterbalance forklift certification and experience is considered an asset * Welding Certification an asset * Elevated work platform certification an asset * Clear criminal record check required *Benefits:* * Company paid comprehensive group benefits plan; including medical, dental, vision and life insurance * Paid breaks * Professional growth opportunities _While we appreciate your interest in this career opportunity at Pliteq, only qualified candidates will be contacted._ _Pliteq is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
