Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Odours. Dusty. At heights. Work setting: Urban area. Rural area. On-site customer service. Various locations. Tasks: Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation. Provide estimate of costs. Determine type of treatment required. Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas. Fumigate households. Place and set traps to capture and remove animals. Install animal control barriers to keep animals off property. Clean out areas that harbour pests. Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence. Equipment and machinery experience: Animal traps. Netting devices. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Gloves. Mask. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills.
