Viacore?s customer-oriented maintenance service has earned us a reputation for being the best in the industry. www.viacore.com *Job Summary* Our Sault Ste Marie, ON branch is currently seeking a Journeyman or 4th year Millwright to join our Services Team. We?re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment. *Main Responsibilities:* * Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment issues both in-shop and at customer sites * Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up * Comprehension of conveyor dynamics and material handling fundamentals * Perform routine maintenance work on machinery * Assemble machinery prior to installation * Start-up and testing * Understand and read Engineered Blueprints and drawings * Shutdown operations * Rigging and handling * Bearing, seals and packing * Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition * Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner * Complete all jobs in a timely manner * Experience in bulk material handling *Job Requirements:* * Completion of 3rd term or possess a Journeyman Certificate in the Millwright trade * 5+ years of experience in the industry * Basic experience with rigging equipment * Must be able to work with minimal direction * Willingness to travel * Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours * Willingness and ability to work in remote locations *What We Offer* * Competitive compensation package * Full range of health benefits * Group RRSP plan with employer matching * Awesome team of dedicated individuals * Exciting and challenging work * Opportunities for career development Reporting to: Service Manager If interested, please apply with a current resume.
