The *Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites* *London*, with 180 modern guestrooms and suites, 15,000+ square feet of versatile meeting space, Vic's on Wellington Restaurant and Bentley?s Lounge, is looking for an energetic Guest Service Agent to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while visiting us.
*Responsibilities*
* Greets all guests that come into contact with Guest Relations ensuring that the guest name is used at all times.
* Checks guests in and out of the Property accurately and in a timely manner.
* Handles guest enquiries and provides information on local attractions and gives directions as required.
* Takes reservations as required in the absence of the Reservations Supervisor.
* Answers all telephone calls in a professional friendly manner.
* Equips the front desk at the commencement of each shift with the adequate stationary and forms.
* Records guest comments for the information of the Front Office Manager.
* Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
* Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
* Check, sort and forward emails
*Requirements*
* *Must be able to work 35-40 hours per week. PART TIME HOURS NOT AVAILABLE! *
* *No students.*
* *Available for all shifts; 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am*
* _*Must be located in the London, Ontario region.*_
* Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position is an asset
* Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
* Proficient in English (oral and written)
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel and Word)
* Strong communication and people skills
* Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
