Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal. Determine weldability of materials. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Ironworker (generalist) Red Seal Certificate. Welder Trade Certification. Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate. Type of materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals. Type of industry experience: Metal products manufacturing. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Tight deadlines. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Safety glasses/goggles. Steel-toed safety boots. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Other benefits: Parking available.
