Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Comprehensive understanding of construction project management methodologies
- Flexibility and willingness to adhere to detailed instructions, reporting directly to the VP of Construction at each stage
- In-depth knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in performing detailed quantity takeoffs and clarifying scopes for trades
- Expertise in identifying scope gaps and ensuring meticulous quality control on site
- Proactive approach to planning, always staying ahead of trades regarding planning, procurement, and safety concerns
- Capability to break down weekly site activities, create and communicate weekly schedules, and ensure adherence to these schedules
- Competence in developing catch-up plans for any delays
- Commitment to a proactive problem-prevention methodology, avoiding the need for extra costs and delays
- Dedication to maintaining clean, organized, safe, and efficient job sites, ensuring all team members are in their designated areas and working effectively
- Adherence to established procedures and processes for all purchasing, approvals, and changes, which are key to effective communication and documentation
