Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Confined spaces. At heights. Wet/damp. Odours. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Non-smoking. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Clean the crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Mixing fertilizer. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Type of product: Hydroponic horticultural products. Type of crops: Bell peppers. Greenhouse vegetables. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail.
