JOB OVERVIEW * If creating satisfaction and pleasant experiences for your customers is at the centre of everything you do, then join Schreiber Pharmacy, a new community-oriented store, to help deliver pharmacy, health and convenience services to residents of Schreiber and surrounding communities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Greet customers in a friendly manner and answer their questions regarding merchandise, price, and promotions. * Answer phone calls and attend to customer requests and inquiries. * Provide excellent, prompt and pleasant service to customers or patients. * Assist the pharmacist by preparing and dispensing medications. * Enter prescription information into the Kroll computer system and bill the payers e.g., Ontario Drug Benefits and insurance companies. * Monitor and maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. * Process daily incoming inventory, price them and put them away on the shelves. * Follow all safety and quality assurance procedures and guidelines. * Collaborate with coworkers and healthcare professionals to ensure best outcomes for customers or patients. * Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to company standards * Complete sales by accepting cash, credit cards, or debit payment while ensuring the accuracy of transactions * Work with store management to devise ways to maximize store sales * Carry out other appropriate functions as needed for the efficient and effective operation of the store. SKILLS This position requires: * Personable approach when interacting with all customers. * Ability to provide exceptional customer service. * Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills. * Good telephone etiquette. * Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail. * Team spirit and tendency to collaborate with coworkers. * Ability to keep the work areas clean and organized. * Ability to use KROLL Pharmacy System or willingness to learn the System. QUALIFICATIONS *Experience*: * At least 2 years of Pharmacy Assistant or customer service experience in a Canadian pharmacy or retail environment. *Education*: * Minimum of Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate (*required*).
