*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution and customer service, along with excellent organizational skills. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality within the warehouse environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to enhance performance and productivity.
* Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately.
* Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to safety, quality control, and customer service.
* Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to maintain cleanliness and organization.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to order fulfillment or product delivery.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs effectively.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation purposes.
* Experience operating forklifts and handling heavy lifting tasks safely.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and workflows.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
