*Position Summary:*
As a Community Behaviour Consultant, this pivotal role is responsible for the assessment, creation, and implementation of comprehensive, tailored behaviour support plans to aid individuals in reaching their fullest potential. Our consultant will maintain a holistic perspective on health, well-being, and functioning, fostering the development of services for individuals with complex needs. This position requires travel to various locations across Saskatchewan.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct functional behavioural assessments for children and youth with diverse abilities, their families, care teams, and service providers.
* Design and implement individualized intervention programs for children, including those with behavioural challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), or other developmental disabilities.
* Provide direct support for the execution of behaviour support plans in various settings such as family homes, schools, and community programs.
* Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs, ensuring continuous progress. Maintain organized, detailed, and structured documentation and reporting of work for the direct supervisor.
* Train and guide behavioural support workers, parents, and other related parties in implementing and maintaining behaviour support plans.
* Supervise team meetings in family homes and participate in professional clinical meetings. Engage in one-on-one assessment sessions as required for this position.
* Design and manage data collection protocols, interpreting data for informed decision-making regarding individual programs.
