Minimax Express is a family owned trucking company that has been in business for over 30 years. We operate within the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, with 6 terminals and 300 team members. Our Hamilton terminal is seeking out a truck and coach technician (*must be a licensed 310T mechanic*). Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing and maintaining : * electrical and electronic systems * engines including fuel, exhaust, intake and emission controls * transmissions, clutches, drive shafts and axles * steering, suspension and computer control systems * tires, wheels and hubs * Perform general trailer repairs on electrical and/or pneumatic systems In addition to the above, candidate must: * Comply with safe operating procedures and company health and safety policies * Follow standard work order process and procedures, ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records * Experience welding and working with hand and air tools * Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area * other duties as required Must be cooperative and have a positive attitude Must have a valid class "G" driver's license for the Province of Ontario AZ License an asset Offering competitive wages with benefits. * Dental care * Medical care * Vision care * RRSP match * Paid time off * On-site parking * On-Site Gym * Life Insurance * Telemedicine * Employee Assistance Program Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $39.90 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care * Wellness program Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * truck mechanic: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (required) * 310T (Truck and Coach Technician License) (required) Work Location: In person- LocationHamilton, ON
