Minimax Express is a family owned trucking company that has been in business for over 30 years. We operate within the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, with 6 terminals and 300 team members. Our Hamilton terminal is seeking out a truck and coach technician (*must be a licensed 310T mechanic*). Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing and maintaining :
* electrical and electronic systems
* engines including fuel, exhaust, intake and emission controls
* transmissions, clutches, drive shafts and axles
* steering, suspension and computer control systems
* tires, wheels and hubs
* Perform general trailer repairs on electrical and/or pneumatic systems
In addition to the above, candidate must:
* Comply with safe operating procedures and company health and safety policies
* Follow standard work order process and procedures, ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records
* Experience welding and working with hand and air tools
* Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
* other duties as required
Must be cooperative and have a positive attitude
Must have a valid class "G" driver's license for the Province of Ontario
AZ License an asset
