*Job Description*
To ensure a high level of food quality, value, consistency and satisfaction to the guests, while maintaining/exceeding budgeted labor and staff.
$28 per hour.
*Key Responsibilities: *
* Prepares items for meal service according to recipes and ingredients listed with and as per the defined presentation, seasoning and portion size
* Deal with guest requests, comments and concerns prompty, politely and professionally with adequate follow up
* Complete end of shift cleaning every shift
* Be in compliance with all health and safety regulations by ensuring adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling guidelines at all times
* Control and record all food waste
* Post ingredients of any specials or subsitutions on the board before service
* Ensure food is stored appropriately with covering, no cross-contamination risk and dated for rotation
* Supervise, assist, direct and train the staff in the performance of their duties
* Follow all rules of dress and conduct as outlined in job description
*Qualifications *
* Culinary Management Diploma
* Safe Food Handler's Certificate
* 2 years experience
* Red Seal Chef preferred
*Job Requirements*
* Shift from 3:00pm to 12:00am
* Weekends as needed
* Maintain proper personal hygiene including clean, controlled hair and appropriate head/hair covering
* Able to stand for long periods of time
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Able to squat, kneel, bend, lift, twist at the waist, and reach above the shoulder
