*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations in our distribution center.
*Requirements*
* Must be able to do heavy lifting
* The ability to operate heavy equipment safely, fork lifts and overhead cranes.
* Ability to load and unload materials efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and customers.
* A valid DZ/AZ driver?s license is required;
* Additional certifications for operating fork lifts and cranes are a plus.
* *Responsibilities*
* Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
* Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, including obtaining necessary endorsements such as Air Brake.
* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the vehicle as needed.
