Job details
Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Health care institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Provide therapy. Administer standard psychological tests for assessment. Interpret test results. Provide counsel and therapy to help clients resolve social and personal problems. Plan programs of assistance for clients. Interview client individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required . Monitor and evaluate. Prepare detailed plans for clients returning home after a stay in a rehabilitation centre. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial certificate of registration.
