Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday - 3pm - 11:30pm
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic (310J Licensed required) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining trailers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
*Duties*
- Perform routine maintenance on trailers
- Complete annual inspections as per the MTO DriveOn program requirements
- Work with a fleet of over 120 trailers (van, walking floor, tipper, end dump).
- Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostic and repair work on the following:
- Electrical systems
- Landing gear assemblies and trailer frames
- Trailer bodywork and repair
- Suspension
- Coupling and hitching systems
- Tires, hubs, wheels and axles
- Air, brake, hydraulic, heating and refrigeration systems
*Qualifications*
- Must have a valid 310J License
- Prior experience in trailer maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Proficiency in using hand tools to dig, assemble, and maintain trailers

* AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

* commercial trailer repair: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* 310J Trailer Mechanic License (required)
