Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Amusement park. Tasks: Assist clients on and off amusement park rides and secure and release safety belts and bars . Set up rides and amusements. Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage. Monitor safety area. Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds. Collect tickets and fees, and rent or sell sports and accessory equipment. Assist patrons on and off rides. Secure and release safety belts and bars. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Provide customer service. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
