*Job Overview* Welcome to The Clean Bee! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively while performing cleaning tasks. Please be aware that you will be in contact with pet dander, dust, and other common allergens. As a professional cleaner, you will occasionally interact with clientele. As a part of The Clean Bee staff, you?re expected to represent our business well with kind and caring language that refrains from anything profane or of gossipy nature. When engaging with clients, polite and neutral conversation is encouraged so long as you stay aware of timing and task priorities. The Clean Bee provides all necessary supplies and equipment for every job. The cleaning industry often operates on last minute bookings sometimes the day before the scheduled job. The Clean Bee expectation is for you to be available during standard working hours of 9am-3pm on weekdays and occasional Saturdays. We don?t expect you to say yes to every job, but we do require a minimum acceptance rate of 75% per month. *Work Expectations* * Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, including but not limited to: * Dusting (surfaces, light fixtures, ceiling corners, wiping down baseboard trim, washing indoor windows and cills) * Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping * Disinfecting surfaces and furniture * Full bathrooms * Laundry rooms * Kitchens * Outside appliances and wall washing * Glass and mirrors * Specific tasks will vary depending on the job * Utilize cleaning tools/equipment safely and effectively for various cleaning tasks. * Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. * Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any cleaning needs or concerns. * Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes. * Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, including moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. * Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions. *Your Experience* * Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. * Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. * Candidates should be physically capable of performing the duties required, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
