Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo from delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including invoices and delivery receipts
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong attention to detail to accurately verify orders and maintain documentation
- Ability to lift heavy packages and operate a forklift if required
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures is an advantage
