We are looking for a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or a Respiratory Therapist to assist with IV Sedation appointments. The candidate must have the following requirements:
BLS/CPR-AED Certificate
ACLS Certification
Registered Nurse with a valid license in Saskatchewan
Nurse Practitioner with a valid license in Saskatchewan
Respiratory Therapist with a valid license in Saskatchewan
This would be a permanent casual position and duties would include monitoring patient vitals (heart rate, blood pressure, respiration and oxygen saturation), accurately documenting patient assessments, vital signs and medication dosages, ensuring that sedation equipment is functioning properly and maintained, able to provide clear and concise information to patients and their families about the sedation procedure and what to expect, be prepared to handle medical emergencies. Training would be provided for equipment management, record keeping, etc.
